Artistic Style

My painting style is colorful, vibrant, and intentionally non-realistic—rooted in a love of bold color and expressive freedom. Inspired by Fauvism, I use whimsical, energetic brushstrokes and unexpected color combinations to capture emotion over accuracy. Rather than replicating what I see, I create artwork that feels alive—playful, soulful, and full of movement.

My style is intentionally whimsical and non-literal, using color as the primary language to evoke emotion and personality in each piece.

Gallery Wrapped Canvas provides a premium experience:

  • Durability: The thicker wood frame is less likely to warp over time

Standard Stretched Canvas provide a most cost-effective solution:

  • Framing Flexibility: Suitable for traditional, ornate frames (not included in portrait)

  • Lighter Weight: Easier to hang, particularly for smaller sizes

Hello

About Me

Hi! I’m Jessica, a Jersey Shore artist specializing in custom pet portraits that celebrate the deep emotional connection between people and their animals.

My work is known for its colorful, vibrant, and whimsical style—blending bold palettes with expressive brushwork to create pieces that feel alive, joyful, and full of personality. Rather than focusing on strict realism, I aim to capture the soul of each subject—their energy, spirit, and the little details that make them truly unforgettable.

Each portrait is thoughtfully hand-painted in acrylic, using your photos as inspiration to create something completely one-of-a-kind. My goal is to transform your pet’s presence into lasting art—something that brings warmth, meaning, and a deep sense of connection every time you see it.

Art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Inspired by my grandmother, I began painting as soon as I could hold a brush. Growing up, I was always encouraged to “color outside the lines,” a philosophy that continues to shape my work today. It gave me the freedom to explore, trust my instincts, and embrace creativity without rules—something that now lives at the heart of my vibrant, kaleidoscopic, and whimsical style.

At its core, my work is driven by a desire to uplift, inspire, and bring joy to others. There’s something incredibly special about turning a beloved pet into a piece of art that feels as full of life as they are.

I’ve had the joy of creating portraits for pet lovers who are looking for something more meaningful than a photograph—something expressive, personal, and deeply felt. It would be an honor to create something just as special for you.
